2020 Pending Precinct Changes: Cunningham/Chub Lake and Olive Hill will vote at Olive Hill Gym. Roxboro 4 (Library) and Roxboro Central will vote at Person County Auditorium.
A message from the County Chair –
Dear Person County Party Members,
The Executive Council of the North Carolina Democratic Party (NCDP) and our Local Person County Democratic Party (PCDP) have met to discuss the best possible solution for meetings and events.
In light of the recent health crisis, the Executive Councils have voted to postpone to move all meetings to a virtual format.
- All meetings will be held virtually until further notice. Candidates and Party members will have access to our headquarters office as needed via coded lockbox. Please contact Chair for access or sign information. We recommend not over two people visit the office.
Each PCDP meeting and candidate event will be hosted on a virtual platform. NCDP is also taking additional precautions to protect the health and well-being of our members.
Your county party is similarly following the Governor’s commonsense recommendations and the advice from the CDC.
We understand that many of us are anxious. We also understand that these decisions may be frustrating to some and the prospect of using a new technology may be daunting but the party has committed to making this process as smooth as possible. Our number one priority remains is the health and safety of our communities.
